While waiting for the results of an HIV test, Vee bums a cigarette from Jimmy, the self-proclaimed mayor of the streets. Sometimes the simplest act can create a bond between strangers. The film was shot on location in Philadelphia and explores themes of HIV/AIDS within the Black LGBT community. It is the first short narrative fiction film from tiona.m., whose last film, the feature-length documentary, black./womyn.: conversations with lesbians of African descent was awarded this festival's Audience Award for Best Documentary in 2008.
